Tools that are used to Jialbreak the gadgets of Apple like iPod Touch 2G, iPhone, iPod Touch 1G and iPhone 3G are QuickPWN and Pwnage Tool. There is another tool that the hackers' community of iPhone Dev Team uses to unlock the iPhone 3G and it is called the Yellowsn0w from the software firmware 2.2. The 2.2.1 has been recently released in January 2009 and this is rightly used to upgrade the gadget without unlocking the features.
